why is Bogibeel Bridge Important for India ?

before going to discuss in detail , let me tell you few things . In 1962 China has attack on India , It was very big attack , surprise attack . China enters into Arunachal Pradesh , But after fight  China step back to it's own country . This whole experience was very bad , India lost it's thousands of troofs in fight . Since 1962 to till China has developed good infrastructure near to Arunachal Border , and as we Know it is longest border area between India and China. Even china is going to start train services in Nepal which is closest neighbor to India . Impotent question , In these years when china was making infrastructure stronger, what we did (India)  . According to report of "Institute of Defense Studies and Analyses " we where not doing any development so that China could not able enters into Indian State of Arunachal Pradesh .And this report name is "Strategic Road Building along the India-China border". So basically we are thinking about defensive way , we have been criticize many time for this . Because of China fear we were not developing our own state of Arunachal .But this mindset started changing from 2007 and in 2010 . But after 2014 when Modi came into power , Things started changing little more faster. National Security Ad visor Ajit Doval has also taken some better decisions , his plan is to develop all north east states , with good infrastructure and connectivity. India longest bridge Bhupen Hazarika Bridge India's longest bridge ,It connect Arunacha and Assam ,This bridge economically good as well as it is good from defence point of view .So we can easily send fighter tank in Arunachal border . But recently India a new bridge build , called Bogibeel bridge , Bogibeel bridge is India's longest rail road bridge .Why I am callig it rail road? because it cosists of two roads one down rail and up road bridge . It is Asia 2nd secong longest rail road bridge . this bridge is also called life line of Assam . This bridge reduces 4 hours distance . This bridge inaugurated on the date of Atal Bihari Vajpayee birth Anniversary .The other important benefit is from a strategic standpoint. The region borders China and considering the history of confrontations with China, which claims Arunachal Pradesh, it’s essential that military personnel can be moved swiftly in the region. Bogibeel Bridge will vastly improve access to Arunachal Pradesh .The Bogibeel Bridge that will reduce the rail journey from Dibrugarh to the Arunachal Pradesh capital Itanagar by 750 kilometers, was conceived in 1973 but the foundation stone was laid by former prime minister "H.D. Deve Gowda' in 1997. However, the actual work began in 2002, during the previous NDA rule.Finally it completed in Modi BJP government.From all this we can see India is now not only defensive , it is offensive defensive.There are many more projects in line which will complete in coming 2-4 years
