Hi friends, Before going to discuss about Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Controversy i would like to tell you few things about Kashi .Kashi , Varanshi and Banaras all these are same city ,The Sapta Puri are the 7 holy pilgrims in India . The Pilgrim centres are , Ayodhaya (Rama) , Mathura(Krishna) ,Haridwar(Vishnu),Varanashi(Shiva),Kanchipuram(Parvati),Ujjain(Shiva),Dwarka(Krishna).
Each years people from all around the world come here to feel the spiritualism of these places . Varanshi is also Prime minister Narendra Modi Election constituency . Prime minister Narendra modi has made a plan to make Varanashi as a world class place , just like Jerusalem, and Makka. Recently Modi made a statement also to  make Varanashi Kyoto-style city .Kyoto is Famous place in Japan .Kyoto is famous for Temples and there was a time whe Kyoto was capital Of Japan , but now tokyo is capital of Japan. So Government has planned to make Kashi as cultural hub for India .Now coming to the controversy , basically Kashi Temple is near to Ganga river bank . Kashi Temple is one the 12 Jyotrilinga in Shiva temples. The two pinnacles of temple are covers with gold and was donated by  ranjit Singh a Punjab Ruler in 1839 .
In most of cases when tourist came here they came to see two things ,first thing is Ganga Arati on the Ganga River Bank and second thing is Kashi temple .But because there are small distance between these two and also there are no proper transport system is there between these two .So government is thinking to make a better path to go from Ganga arati place to Kashi temple. But Between these two there is certain old houses and some small temples also. So Government is thinking to destroy those old houses and temples .But we should understand fact ,Kashi is very old city , even you will search on google for oldest city in the world you will find Kashi in that list .So in Kashi there are many small temples and small houses are there , these temples and houses are also very old , and these are showing original Kashi , it show how Kashi was 5000 years ago .A American writer Mark Twain ,according to him ' Banaras is Older than history older than tradition older even than legends and looks twice as older as all of them put together '.Please provide your view on this topic , you can also give a comment in the comment box.
